Before you enrol

Terms & Conditions

For PE and Connected Kids classes

When enrolling in any class, please carefully review and acknowledge the following terms and conditions.

Securing Your Place

For new families who have not attended previously, your spot is confirmed only after payment for the first week’s class is received. This payment is non-refundable if you cancel within seven days of the program’s start date. Unpaid enrolments are not guaranteed a place.

Block Payments

If you enrol in any class, you are required to pay for the entire block, even if you miss any sessions and cannot make them up. Full payment is due at the first class unless you have arranged a payment plan in advance. Cash is preferred. If you are absent in week one, a bank transfer must be completed by the end of that week to keep your spot, unless other arrangements have been made.

Cancelled Classes

In the event that a class is cancelled for any reason (personal, weather, etc.), you will have the option of a refund, credit, or a rescheduled “makeup” session. Notifications will be sent promptly if a class is cancelled.

Missed Classes

If you miss a class, and there is another class during the week for that age group, you may arrange a “makeup” session during the term, provided you give written notice to Rowan Connell and there is space available in another class.

Non-Payment

If payment is not received in full after reasonable attempts to resolve the issue or arrange a plan, the participant will be removed from the program.

Refund Policy

Once the program has begun, refunds are not generally given if you change your mind or cannot continue, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Because places are limited, cancelling after the start makes it unlikely your spot can be filled. You may transfer your booking to another person for some classes where suitable—please enquire if you are interested. Further consideration for a refund or credit may be given in cases of injury or extenuating circumstances, to be assessed individually upon receipt of written details.

Participation, Health and Safety

PE, Sport and Connected Kids programs may include running, jumping, ball games, team activities and other physical or recreational activities. These activities involve ordinary risks, including falls, collisions and physical injury. Parents and guardians must provide accurate information about any medical condition, allergy, injury, disability or support need that may affect their child’s safe participation, and must update us if that information changes. Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions. If a child becomes ill or injured, we may provide first aid and contact their parent or guardian. Where urgent assistance is reasonably considered necessary, we may contact emergency services. The parent or guardian is responsible for any ambulance or medical expenses not otherwise covered. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

By registering for any program, you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms & Conditions.
